Not-to-be-missed Visit To The Great Falls of the Passaic River

The wondrous sights and sounds of nature can be experienced should charter bus visitors head on to the Great Falls of the Passaic River. This prominent, thunderous waterfall is 77 feet high, located on the Passaic River in the city of Paterson in New Jersey. The falls itself as well as its surrounding area are protected as part of Paterson Great Falls National Historic Park.
The Great Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the United States, formed approximately at the end of the last ice age, estimated about 13,000 years ago. Viewable from Haines Overlook Park on the south and Mary Ellen Kramer Park on the north, you can even ask your charter bus driver to do a drive-by viewing of the falls from McBride Avenue where it crosses the river just above the Falls.
