New Jersey State House

Historical places are never boring, and should you be heading to New Jersey on your charter bus, don’t forget to visit the New Jersey State House in Trenton. As the capitol building for the State of New Jersey, it is the second oldest state house that is still in use in America.
Unusual in its design, the New Jersey State House is in a shape of a sideways H, featuring a golden dome right in the center, and a long wing on the west side extending towards the Delaware River. Unlike other state houses, the New Jersey State House is surrounded by urban buildings instead of surrounded by gardens.
