Learning All About Glassblowing in NJ

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes on how glass is being shaped? Ever wished that you could try your hands on making your own glass creations? Now you can do just that – just rent a New Jersey bus and come on over to the Hot Sand at 550 Cookman Avenue, Asbury Park and learn glassblowing from the professionals! And if you like, you can bring your family, your friends, your co-workers, your neighbors – oh well, you get what we are trying to tell you, right?

When you arrive at the Hot Sand in your New Jersey bus, you will understand why we have suggested that you rent a bus to bring you and your family and friends there – if you have driven there yourself, you may have to circle the block a few times before you are able to find a parking spot. Hence, renting a New Jersey bus for this trip is definitely a wise decision and totally worth it. You will be amazed as you watch how the bubble would transform from fire into colorful crystalline works of art and trust us, you will be itching to get your hands on to try it yourself too. Hot Sand Glass Studio is the country’s first ever glassblowing studio where the public can have access to have a hands on experience of glassblowing.
Their studio is open for glassblowing sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (from 12noon to 7pm) and on Fridays and Saturdays (from 12noon to 8pm) and on Sundays (from 12noon to 6pm) while their gallery hours are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (from 12noon to 8pm), Fridays (from 12noon to 10pm), Saturdays (10am to 10pm) and on Sundays (from 10am to 6pm). They are closed on Tuesdays.

At Hot Sand Glass Studio, you need to be at least nine years old to join one of their glass artists and create your own unique glass work. They have a Glassblowing menu for you to choose which activity you want to participate in; so pick your choice and let your journey of making your very first glass artwork begin! For many New Jersey bus passengers, a trip to the Hot Sand Glass Studio is always a memorable one – not only do they get their hands on trying out glassblowing, they also get to bring home their creation too. Charges are applicable, of course, but it is really worth it. There have also been on many occasions where parents of newborns would bring their babies to have a quick cast of their babies’ footprints or handprints done for keepsakes. Now, that’s awesome, don’t you think so?
