The sound of music in New Jersey

Throughout the year, the state of New Jersey is host to a variety of music festivals. The diverse array of festivals take place inside and outside, across the state, featuring many different styles and genres of music. Some of these festivals offer educational opportunities and others give rental bus visitors a chance to both camp out and listen to some of their favorite music. Visit New Jersey with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from Bus Companies New Jersey and enjoy some of the best music of today.
At the beginning of May, contemporary pop musicians gather at New Jersey's Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford for this two-day event. Started in 2002 by John D'Esposito and Coachella producer Kevin Kopacko, the festival is intended to recreate Coachella on the East Coast for New Jersey rental bus visitors, albeit with its own personality. The festival features nine stages of the most popular rock, hip-hop and alternative musicians of the day. Unlike other outdoor festivals, Bamboozle plays rain or shine.
A Rutger's student-led event since 1975, the New Jersey Folk Festival aims to highlight folk culture while teaching students festival management and public relations skills. Rental bus visitors can watch the festival's eclectic group of musicians perform music from around the world. The festival has seen Highland bagpipers, Middle-Eastern ensembles and singers of ancient West African songs. The festival also puts on a juried craft market with over 100 booths, a singer/songwriter competition and a children's area with activities ranging from a potato sack race to free face painting to a pie-eating contest. The day-long festival is held at the end of April.
Held in the both the spring and the fall, Camp Jam in the Pines is a three-day long festival of bluegrass, country, blues and Americana. In the past, the festival has featured musicians such as Caravan of Thieves, Eilen Jewell and Lower Case Blues. Camping is available at the festival site and the nearby Holiday Inn offers discounts for rental bus visitors to the festival. A small area of the campgrounds is reserved for "quiet" camping; music is prohibited in this area between midnight and 8 a.m.
Rental bus visitors can hear the latest in leading edge music when upcoming artists of the Tri-State area are given the opportunity to showcase their work in front of thousands of people during the Wave Gathering Music Festival. Held in mid-June, the festival is a weekend-long event and takes place at a number of bars, restaurants, churches and other venues in downtown Asbury Park. Most of the event takes place on Cookman Avenue, including the free street festival held on the Saturday of the event. The musicians who play the festival are upcoming artists from all genres, and are able to hear from and connect with industry leads through the festival.
New Jersey has never sounded better than during a rental bus visit during a music festival. Give Bus Companies New Jersey a call today to plan your rental bus trip, and travel to the festival in style and comfort in your rental bus.

Jersey shore jaunt

The New Jersey Shore, popularly known simply as the "Jersey Shore," is a popular vacation destination for rental bus visitors. The area is home to many famous beaches, beach towns and boardwalks, including Atlantic City, which for years was the only place in the United States with casino gambling other than Las Vegas, and Asbury Park, known as the home of Bruce Springsteen. A great way of getting in and around New Jersey is with a bus, charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus chartered from Bus Companies New Jersey.
The main reason charter bus visitors come to New Jersey in a Bus Companies New Jersey bus is for the beaches, and the New Jersey Shore is home to dozens of swimming and surfing beaches, such as Cape May, Ocean City, Long Branch, Point Pleasant Beach, Ocean Gate and Wildwood. For rental bus visitors traveling with families, Bradley Beach Park is located right on the boardwalk of Bradley Beach and offers a gated park for kids to play in, along with an adjacent mini-golf course. Belmar is another wide, sandy beach with calm water and several parks right on the shore, as well as a nearby food court. In the southern half of the Jersey Shore, the beaches between Atlantic City and Margate are among the most popular, with plenty of activity on the elevated boardwalk. Most Jersey Shore beaches charge access fees, while free beaches can be found in Atlantic City, Wildwood and Sandy Hook, the latter part of the Gateway National Recreation Area.
Aside from the beaches, charter bus visitors will also find other attractions in New Jersey. The Cape May Zoo offers 80 acres of exhibits and more than 500 mammals, birds and other animals and admission is free. Atlantic City is one of the country's top gaming centers, with 24-hour casinos filled with slot machines and table games. Gillian’s Wonderland Pier in Ocean City is an amusement park with 35 rides and attractions that's been a boardwalk fixture and New Jersey charter bus visitor favorite for more than 70 years. Morey's Piers and Beachfront Waterparks, on the boardwalk in Wildwood, offer more than 100 rides, including oceanfront roller coasters. Travel to the northern part of Jersey Shore in your charter bus, where there's the Keansburg Amusement Park and Runaway Rapids Family Waterpark, as well as the historic Sea Girt lighthouse, now a museum.
Recreational opportunities for rental bus visitors along the New Jersey Shore are highlighted by water activities, including boating, fishing, kayaking and sailing. The Jersey Shore also is known for its diverse year-round fishing, thanks to the convergence of the Gulf Stream, and Hudson and Delaware rivers. A wide variety of fish can be caught off the coast, including striped bass, bluefish, and fluke. Anglers can surf cast from certain beaches and inlets, or book deep-sea fishing cruises from marinas in Cape May, Wildwood, Long Beach Island, Atlantic City, Sea Bright and other towns. The Jersey Shore also has dozens of golf courses, many of them associated with resorts. One of the most popular is the Sand Barrens Golf Club, a 27-hole course about a half-hour south of Atlantic City in Cape May.
